Additional participants included SV Angel, Betaworks and NBA star Kevin Durant. Hugging face was founded in 2016 by Clement Delangue and Julien Chaumond; their total investment to date is $5.3M. Verifly, a NY-based insurtech startup delivering on-demand insurance to self-employed users, has raised a $4.2M seed 2 round from Slow Ventures, AXA Venture Partners and OpenOcean. Vervoe, a NY-based SaaS startup whose platform vets hundreds of job candidates simultaneously, has raised a $3.5M round led by SEEK Ltd.
